As of Tuesday, March 17, Danvers Indoor Sports is closed until further notice. Please check our Facebook page and website for further updates. The health and safety of our customers remains our top priority. Additional cleaning and disinfecting procedures will be taking place during this closure.
As of Sunday, March 15 at 5:00pm, Danvers Indoor Sports administered adult soccer and volleyball games have been postponed until further notice. League Directors will be contacting coaches and point of contacts shortly.
As of Friday, March 13 at 10:00am, Lil’ Kickers, Skills Institute, and DIScover programs are being postponed for two weeks and classes will be added to the end of the current session. Directors will be in contact with more information.
DIS is open and walk-ins are welcome at DIS member and non-member pricing. Limited number of people per playing surface. Please call 978-777-7529.
As of Thursday, March 12 at 1:10pm, Danvers Indoor Sports administered youth leagues, including soccer and field hockey will be postponed until further notice. We are looking to schedule the remaining of the current sessions in July, 2020. Directors will be in contact with schedules at a later date.
Danvers Indoor Sports Volleyball Academy has been postponed. The Volleyball Director will be in contact with the schedule.
Danvers Indoor Sports will remain open for adult leagues and rentals. If you have any specific questions, please email or call your DIS contact.
Danvers Indoor Sports will continue to work on creating the safe environment you already trust.
With the Coronavirus (COVID-19 ) in national and local news and as the situation develops, Danvers Indoor Sports will continue to monitor and implement recommendations provided by the CDC.
The CDC indicates the immediate health risk for most Americans is considered low at this time, but there are steps that Danvers Indoor Sports is taking to help prevent the spread of flu and respiratory illnesses.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
- Stay home when you are sick
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
Additional Action Items by Danvers Indoor Sports:
- Hand sanitizers in the public areas so customers have access
- Clean and sanitize work and public areas often
- Suspend high-fives and fist-bumps to help reduce the spread of infection
- Asking for employees who are sick to stay home
