MEET THE DIRECTOR

Sarah Sparks
Sarah Sparks is the new DIS Field Hockey Director in her first season.

A native of Old Orchard Beach, Me. Sarah Sparks attend Falmouth High School. There she was a three year member of the varsity field hockey program.​ As a senior earned all-state and all-conference first team honors.

In the fall of 2013, Sparks attended Merrimack College in North Andover, Ma. A four-year star of the Warriors (2013-2017). In her time at Merrimack, she helped lead the Warriors to two the Final Four appearances (2013, 2015) and concluding the 2015 as the NCAA Division II Field Hockey Runner-Up. Sarah earned NE10 All-Conference second team, along with NCAA All Tournament Team. She recorded 14 defensive saves in her career. Sparks was a captain of the team her senior season at Merrimack, she also was named to the NFHCA 2016 Division II North All-Star Team.

In May 2015, Sparks graduated from Merrimack College with her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training.

Sparks currently resides in Concord Massachusetts, and is the Assistant Coach at Assumption College (Worcester, Ma). Sarah Sparks: Sarah Sparks is the new DIS Field Hockey Director in her first season.

COACHES

Kate McCauley
Kate will be joining us in her second season with DISFH Club for Session Two as the U16 Head Coach. A Newburyport Clipper, Kate helped lead her team to a Cape Ann League Championship and was named a two-time CAL All-Star. She also ranked in the CAL Top 10 for goals and assists in 2011. Following graduation, Kate went on to play at Merrimack College where she made two Final Four appearances as well as being named to the NFHCA All-Academic Team in 2012 and 2014. In her time with the Warriors, they also achieved the recognition as the NCAA National Runner-Up in 2015. To cap off her career, she was named to the NFHCA 2016 Division II North All-Star Team. Kate is currently working at Fidelity as a Customer Relationship Advocate.

Nicole Bradley
Nicole will be joining DIS Field Hockey for her first season as a U19 Head Coach. A four-year member of the Manchester Essex Regional field hockey team. She helped lead team to three Cape Ann League titles. Nicole was named USFHA Futures All-Region Team as a sophomore, to finish off her high school career she was named 2013 Cape Ann league player of the year. After graduation, Nicole went on the play at Merrimack College where in the first season alone she would make the Northeast-10 All-Conference Rookie Team and had a breakout rookie year, starting in all 20 games. Nicole continued through her career being a top scorer, and a huge presence on MCFH. In her four years she made two Final Four appearances, achieved the recognition as the NCAA National Runner-Up in 2015. Nicole currently works as a 5th grade teacher at Lawrence Family Development Charter School.
